Carpet

- Place mats and rugs at all entries into your home to catch dirt, and frequently shake out the mats.
- Always clean spills immediately and blot the spill so you don't spread it.
- Vacuum low traffic areas at least once a week and make sure you vacuum the main traffic areas in your house more often.

Hardwood Floors
Hardwood floors can be the most expensive but beautiful flooring option for
your home. Maintaining your hardwood floors is easy by following these
useful guidelines:
- Place mats and rugs at all entries into your home to catch dirt, and
frequently shake out the mats.
- Since moisture is a hardwood floor's biggest
enemy, make sure you clean up all liquid spills ASAP!
- Chairs and furniture
can scrape the finish of your floors, so place protective felt pads on the
bottoms of their legs.
- Regularly dust mop, sweep, or vacuum (with the
brushes turned off). Built up dust and dirt can deluster the finish of your
hardwood floors.
- Use a manufacturer approved hardwood floor cleaner such as
Bona to deep clean your floors.
Ceramic & Porcelain Tile
Tile is the most durable flooring option for your home and maintenance is pretty straight forward.
